Horizontal transfers in the Massane forest: the well-kept secret of lianas
This presentation is about the work of my supervisor, Moaine El Baidouri, as well as her former Ph.D student, Emilie Aubin, on horizontal transfers within Massane trees. It ends on how my work will add further information on them.
This presentation is about the results of my two first years of PhD, focusing on liana-tree HTs as well as fungi-plants HTs
While this talk has almost the same title as the previous conference, this presentation focused on the results of my liana-tree HTs study as it highlighted a high number of horizontally transferred transposable elements. I also talked about a particular case of fungi-to-plant TE HT.
I won the Best Short Talk Award with this presentation !
